Position Summary
We are seeking 3+ Journeyman & Apprentice Structural Ironworkers for a job in Sherwood Park, AB. The successful candidates will report to the site supervisor.
Other responsibilities include:
- Reading blueprints and specifications for laying out the ironwork required.
- Offloading, sorting, and preparing structural steel for erection.
- Performing the erection of structural, ornamental, and other miscellaneous metal work.
- Performing reconstructive work on existing structures.
Our Ideal Candidate
- Must be a registered Journeyman or Apprentice in the trade of Ironworker.
- Experience with industrial or commercial construction.
- A positive attitude towards safety.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Ability to understand oral and written instructions.
- Able to interpret drawings and various other specifications.
- Excellent organizational, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Required CSTS 2020, WHMIS 2015 and ESC Fall Protection.
